How can I use my telephone key pad to participate in the conference?

Controlling the features of the prayer line is easy using the buttons on the telephone. The button features are different for the moderator of the conference and the guests of the conference. For details on the features.

How do I invite others to my Prayer Line?

You can invite your fellowship to the conference line any way that you choose such as e-mail, text message, or personal invitation. When inviting others to the call, supply them with the Prayer Line number and the access code to join your Prayer Line.

How do I create a personal greeting?

A personal greeting can be created using a touch tone phone. Just call into the conference line as the moderator, follow the audio prompts to enter the access code and moderator number when prompted. The moderator of the conference line is the only one that can change the personal greeting. After dialing into the conference line simply listen to the options to walk through the creation of a personal greeting. Once completed the personal greeting will be heard by all participants entering your conference.

Another way to add a personal greeting to your phone line is to pre-record your greeting as a MP3 file or a .wav file and place the greeting in the web control for that conference. To do this, log into the web control through the website using your username and password. Once there click on “Manage Conferences”. Then select the conference you would like to add a personal greeting to from the list at the bottom of the screen. Access that conference by pressing the Edit button. In the conference Preface section simply click on the “Browse” button to locate the audio file desired for the personal greeting. When finished click on “Save Conference Changes”.

Do I need special equipment?

No you do not need any special equipment. Any participant can dial in to the conference call using a normal land line or mobile phone.

How good will the sound quality be?

You will find the sound quality to be reliable and good – without the static you might be used to.  The quality of the call can further be enhanced by 'muting' participants that have background noise. The call moderator can do this in the web control panel.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Pulpitcalls.com services are available 24/7 without any contract. Our service is free.

How long does it take to set up a conference?

You can have instant Prayer Line access to our 24/7 service immediately after joining Pulpitcalls.com. As the prayer host, just supply your guests with the Prayer Line number and access number to meet them for prayer.

Does the dial in number and my access code change?

No, we like to keep your dial in numbers the same so you can use them time and again. The access codes do not change unless you ask us to or if you add a personal greeting.

Can callers enter the conference call at any time?

Yes, participants can enter and leave at any time with the right telephone number and access code.

Is there a limit to how many people I can invite?

No. You can have up to 250 participants on the call without having to book with us in advance. We regularly cater for much larger audiences of up to 1500 and would be happy to do so for you. Is there a limit to the number of calls or the duration of my calls?

No. We do not have these types of limits. Use the services for as long and as often as you like!

Can participants dial in from abroad?

Yes, you can dial into a conference from abroad. Toll rates will apply.

What is a prayer line number, access number, and moderator number and how do I get it?

Prayer Line phone number, access number, and moderator number are supplied immediately after joining pulpitcalls.com. Your Prayer Line phone number allows you to dial into the system. Your access number allows the user entry into your prayer line. The moderator number should only be used by the host of the prayer call. This number allows access to special controls during the call.

Can we record a personal greeting?

Yes, for personal greetings e-mail info@pulpitcalls.com with the desired content of the greeting. We will have the greeting recorded for you and contact you with additional information when the recording is completed. Click here to use our email form.

Do you offer recording on conference calls?

Yes, we provide free recording and replay of our recordings for up to 30 days..

How do I best manage and control the call?

How much will the call cost?

We do not charge for the use of our Prayer Line services. It is a free service.
The cost to the host and participants will be the cost of their telephone call.

Will our personal details be sold or made available to others?

No. We will never sell or share your email address or other personal information with anyone unless required for the provision of the service you subscribe to.
